The Bramalea Stamp Club profiles club member Steve Johnson.

Hello Again. Thought I'd update my member profile since my collecting habits have changed.

I still collect Canadian mint never hinged singles, but I recently started getting into covers. I can thank Ingo for that. He once told me that I would get into collecting covers. I should also mention that I get great help and encouragment from Bob and Jerry.

The covers I am most interested in are the Semi-Official Airmails. These covers, mostly from the 1920's, each tell a story about the difficulty delivering mail often to remote areas of Canada. This was a time when air travel was relatively new and often very dangerous. Of these, I am most interested in the Yukon Airways covers. Here are some exmaples of stamps and covers I have found so far.

As well, I started doing a bit of exhibiting. Here is a page that I recently completed. Any insights or critique is most welcome.

Well, that about does it for now. If any other member would like to have a profile done, please let me know. You can still see my old one by clicking the link.
