One-cent issued October 14, 1935

Two-cent issued September 9, 1935

Four-cent issued on July 2, 1935





This was a carrier drop letter. The rate for the period is two-cents. A double deficiency of two cents was charged plus a one-cent War Tax. The letter was unclaimed “Out of Business”, Return to sender box was marked. A further charge of sixteen cents was charged for a bundle of Return to sender letters, equal to the postal rate. Therefore eight letters were returned to sender.
