This cover was sent from Toronto on April 4, 1926, arriving at Rolling Portage on April 16. The cover was then flown the next day arriving at Red Lake on
April 17, 1926. This just happened to be the last day of flight for the company. The stamp in use is the CL7 stamp used by Jack V. Elliot, however,
Eliiot-Fairchild Air Service flew the cover from Rolling Portage to Red Lake. The CL9 merger stamp was unlikely available at Toronto on April 4.
The cover was sent to H.E. Holland wo ran the mining recorders tent at Red Lake. The mining recorder tent would keep track of all the mining claims
in the region. Commercial semi-official covers are extremely rare.
A very interesting cover!
