A rare semi-official cover with stamp CL 41 in use. The stamp was issued by Western Canada Airways to commemorate the 60th anniversary
of Canadian Confederation. The stamp also has the distinction of being the only stamp in Canada issued for one day of use (July 1, 1927). This cover was
flown from Red Lake to Rolling Portage and has the purple maple leaf cachet on the front. The cover is also signed by pilot J.R. Ross.
The back shows various points served by Western Canada Airways and has a 4-line company cancel.
