Cover of the Month
Patricia Airways and Exploration Cover.
Unlisted Flight?

An interesting cover which is completely philatelic. J. Davis is a well known collector of semi-official mails.
This cover is postmarked at Red Lake on January 28, 1927, and is properly franked with a four cent admiral as the cover is addressed
to England. However, the cover does have an incorrect use. The green-blue Patricia Airways stamp was used instead of the proper yellow Patricia Airways Stamp. The yellow stamp was to be used in the Red Lake district, while the green-blue stamp was to be used in the Woman Lake district. With no receiver mark on the back, it is questionable whether this cover was flown at all or if the Patricia Airways stamp was even necessary.
A very interesting piece of semi-official mail.
