Cover of the Month
A great cover presented by club member Jerry Piotrowski. A great example of postal history. Thanks Jerry!!!
Postal stationary of 1945 with additional imperforate stamp.
This postal card was sent to PO Box 260/cc London England. This was the undercover address of the Free Polish Army during and after the war. Mail sent here would be redirected to the addressee at his current location, in this case to CMF 320 (Central Mediterranean Forces). This item also shows a post war Polish censor marking 3279 in use from April 1946 to the end of October 1946.
A great cover of Polish postal history. Thanks Jerry for your contribution.
